Is a CFW worth it on the Nintendo Switch?

I would like to load a CFW on my Switch, since I already have over 20 games that I would like to load as a backup to the memory card. I would also like to use some emulators.

However, my switch is too new for a CFW, so I would have to sell it and buy an older one.

Is it worth it or should I just leave it?

And is there an emulator for Nintendo Ds and 3DS games for the Switch?

No idea why you use emulators. Be happy with your regular switch and support developers by buying the games. From me also about Game Keys.
