Why were all of my Fortnite friends deleted?

I play Fortnite on the Nintendo Switch. I wanted to ask my Facebook friends and logged on to the Macbook briefly to ask my Facebook friends via the Epic Launcher. I did this. I didn't sign out with Nintendo. The account should still be linked and my Epic Games friends should still be on it. But they are really all gone and I can't ask anyone anymore. Does anyone know?
