I actually planned to buy an English textbook for 10th grade plus workbook and a grammar book in March to improve and practice my English. But I discovered a game for the Nintendo Switch that I would very much like to have (it costs 50 euro). I don't have enough money for English and games. What would you buy in my case?
In 10th grade you have to be able to make decisions of this caliber yourself. So weigh what is more important to you and what you want to achieve and decide for yourself.
You have two options. Either people who talk you out of it and say education is more important. Is it also generally something you have your whole life, from a game well pastime.
The other is that the teenagers who like to gamble will tell you of course buy the game. But you will not be able to avoid the decision. And you still need a textbook.
Buy the game, be happy and be motivated to go to school. An English book is useless if the attitude to study is not there. And if you had that, you wouldn't need an English book.
Pro tip: Buy an English-language game to improve your English while gaming.
In the best case, you only visit the 10 class once, which is why the book is more important. You can play the game even later, that doesn't run away unlike school.
And most likely it will be cheaper over time anyway, so you will save some more in the end.
By the way, the books are also provided by the schools if the parents do not have enough money. And otherwise it is actually up to the legal guardian to take care of the problems with school education.
What kind of answers do you expect? Either people feel attracted who like to gamble or like to learn and train…
I like to do both, but I'm also a bit older.
But from my own experience I can say that you can get ahead with education in the future and you can also be happy. You can still gamble later.
Note: Have a look at the library or video library?!
