Some friends wanted me to broadcast some games live on Discord via my Nintendo Switch. None of us have any idea how to do it. Is that even possible and if so how?
I think with a capture card as always.
The only thing I would think of now would be to connect the Nintendo Switch to the laptop / computer and then stream it like this. But that is very expensive and tedious, I would advise against it.
You first need a capture card to get the video signal of the Nintendo Switch on the PC / laptop.
Then you can e.g. Play the video signal with a program and stream it via Discord.
Usually with a capture card, but if your PC has an HDMI in you can usually connect it directly, or via a console with HDMI in.
If you have an XBox One, for example, you can connect the switch to it and play it via the XBox (with switch controller) and you can then stream it from Windows XBox on Windows 10 and then transfer this stream to Discord
However, one does not necessarily need one
