Which Harvest Moon (3DS) game is the best?

I've seen that there are several Harvest Moon games for the Nintendo 3DS and before I just wanted to get any of it I wanted to ask you which one suits you best.

And do you know any other games that you like?

Yes, after I asked the question here, I also found out and was a bit confused. 😂 Many also say that the Story of Seasons is actually Harvest Moon

Story of Seasons is actually the old Harvest Moon with a new name. Rune Factory was created as an offshoot / spin-off of Harvest Moon.

So not completely wrong.

* Accordingly, Story of Seasons would be a tip. The current "Harvest Moon" games, unfortunately, I find not so tingling

Of the actual Harvest Moon games for the 3DS, now called Story of Seasons, I only know Trio of Towns, but that's really good and pretty extensive. There are a lot of farm animals, fish and plants and ways to process the animal and plant products.

The different city dwellers I like, too, each of the three cities has its own culture and festivals and there are also some competitions. If you do more and more business with the cities and do tasks for the inhabitants, you can eventually help to beautify the cities with different buildings (you have to supply the raw materials for the construction).

Although this is not a game of the original game series, but The Lost Valley is also quite good. There are not many animals (only cows, sheep and chickens), no enterable city (the inhabitants of a town instead come into the mountains to the farm of the player).

But quite a lot of plants, from stretching depending on the season, humidity level and growing height, various new varieties emerge and partly from these varieties in the same way turn other varieties. For example, there are killer tomatoes and whiteberries (a strawberry mutation that occurs in winter).

The DS game (a 3DS can play all DS games, the 2DS is the way again something else, namely a variant of 3DS without the technology for de 3D display, separate 2DS games are therefore not, only DS games, so which for the predecessor of the 3DS, which is called only DS) stories of two cities is also very good.

It is actually similar in many Trio of Towns, but the graphics are not three-dimensional and the range of animals, plants and ways to process the animal and plant products is not quite as high.

Both Story of Season parts: Top titles you have to have both.

Pokémon Ultra Sun / Moon: Better than its predecessors.

Yokai Watch (2 + 3): Better gameplay and more interesting story than Part 1.

New Style Boutique (2 + 3): More options.

Fantasy Life: Interesting and cute RPG.

Not recommended I find:

Harvest Moon - History of two cities: (-) Main story relatively fast through, otherwise very slow game progress, annoying bug in which the game crashes, you can save only at bedtime, freshness level

Harvest Moon - Village of the Sky Tree: The improved version of "The Lost Valley", (-) has a very short story, a little unloving design, e.g. Same pictures for different plants (+) many different plant varieties possible
