Is it worth jailbreaking a Nintendo 3DS?

Does it still make sense to make an effort to carry out a jailbreak because what exactly do you get now that you did not get before with updates today?

You have to know for yourself whether it is worth it or you have to know what exactly you want to achieve with the jailbreak. Definitely there are things that would be handy if jailbroken.
