Nintendo Switch Games → Family & Travel Strategy?

Love community,

Even after much research on the Nintendo site I could not find clear and adequate answers.

I would like to put 2 Nintendo Switch consoles under the Christmas tree.

A console for my wife and a console for the son. It is planned to create a family membership and a family account in which my son has a child account as a minor.

Of course, playing games twice is not an objective, so the following questions:

Can I play while traveling (offline) a game bought on card / cartridge alternately on the two consoles, bsp. Son takes the game out of his console and my wife just wants to keep playing on her console with her savegame and vice versa?
A digitally acquired game can't be traded offline for a certain amount of time in the family network. This is online.

We travel a lot and often have no internet connection and the question is ultimately:
What would be the best solution to be able to flexibly share 2 devices as simply as possible within the family?

That there are game sharing (digitally acquired games) with friends / family is known, but seems to me only to go if there's an active Internet connection.

It would be great if someone could share his experience here.

The memory is stored only on the console, the Cardridge contains only the game, so it can easily be exchanged between two consoles with it.

Game sharing works on the primary console with online games purchased online and offline. With the secondary console, this will only work with an internet connection.

In that sense, it would be the best way to physically buy the games.

I think so, even if local multiplayer games then have to turn out well.

Unless you have 2 controllers

Correctly. 😁
