Plastic display and water - problematic?

The Nintendo Switch has a plastic / plastic display and not glass. If I now want to install a tempered glass film to protect the display, the display must first be cleaned thoroughly. Most armored glass films also contain cleaning agents in the packaging, including a microfiber cloth and a damp cloth.

My question: Is it problematic if I use the damp cloth to clean the plastic display? Can the display not get scratches from the water or suck the water into the display? What do you think? Or does someone already have experience with this?

The detergent will likely be a cloth soaked in isopropanol. How should the display get scratched by water in general? No, the cloth should not scratch the plastic. No water is sucked in either. It's not water, as already mentioned, but alcohol. Alcohol evaporates and causes no damage to electronics like water. In addition, the actual display only comes under the plastic that you can touch, you do not come into contact with the display at all.

All right, thank you very much for your answer.

Gladly

Water does not make scratches, but possibly a rough cloth. Some plastics may be etched, i.e. Get tired. Therefore, first test on a corner.

All right, thank you!
