Brake caliper paint for plastic or plastic?

I was going to paint my Xbox controller. Since the hardware stores are closed and I'm too impatient, I looked in the basement to see if we had anything there. I did find a spray can but it's for brake calipers. And my question is whether I can use brake caliper paint for plastic or plastic.
