I would like to buy a canvas and have decided on this model.

My question would be whether I want 4: 3 (220 x 173 cm) or 16: 9 (220 x 124 cm)
I would watch films on the screen and occasionally play "PS4 or PC"

I would be happy if someone is familiar with it and could help me?

Do you already have a projector? It would make sense to buy afterwards. If the projector can do both, I would definitely recommend 16: 9. This is simply standard and since the formats are all 16: 9 anyway for your purpose, i.e. TV, Netflix, etc. An absolute must.

ACER H6522BD home theater projector (Full HD, 1920x1080, 10,000: 1 contrast, 3500 ANSI lumens, HDMI / MHL, VGA, 3.5 jack) white
This is the projector
I just thought that the 4: 3 screen is more screen

However, this image area would either be left over or be fully broadcast, although the image would have to be cropped. I would also like to get a screen soon and therefore my decision has been made because the 4: 3 format is for the most part very old. This is what happened in these CRT TVs. A lot of canvas would be "unused" all the time.

Yes i think it is counterproductive if there are wise edges at the top and bottom

Exactly, that's just not visually appealing.
