Screwed on my PlayStation about 2 months ago to remove the accumulated dust because it got louder every time I used it.
All good until yesterday, PlayStation is 10 minutes and then switches itself off and can't be started (looks like there's no power)
when I pull the power cord out and plug it back in, it started but then went out again and again after 5-10 min
So screwed on again and cleaned because I thought it could help
everything screwed together again and now the PlayStation starts only briefly, the blue stripe appears, it clicks and it goes out again immediately.
Repair at Gamestop is no longer possible due to the opening of the device, so I would like to try it on my own.
Would someone have some advice on how to get it going again or a possible point of contact for repairs that are reasonably priced?
Don't be afraid I have to open my ps4 in the near future.
For what reason exactly did you screw it on? Assume that it is not worth repairing… The ps5 is coming soon. Can't you somehow contact a support or something?
The guarantee has now expired in any case.
In your question, do you mention a click, maybe it was a click of the hard drive? This indicates that the hard drive is weakening.
The blue status light of the PS4 can be a BLoD, here more: https://praxistipps.chip.de/...eben_16702
How old is she then? Did you buy them from release? Which model?
If your PS turns off after 10 minutes, it may appear that the processor (CPU) or your graphics processor (GPU) is overheating. But it is difficult to say what it could be.
Don't do it! I had a really quiet playsi for 2 months now, but now I'm without it.
She wanted to dust off so that it is quieter, which also worked.
How does the PS4 sound now, from the noise?
