How can I tackle my account attachment?

Up until six months ago I only lived in shared apartments. Had a TV but only connected to the Playstation.

Have never paid Gez before.

Now for half a year I have been using the TV as normal.

The last 8 years there was also a time when I was unemployed.

I now have a bank attachment of 1700 euro on it. (Because of GEZ) do I have a chance to push this amount (as hard as it is, for no performance)? If yes how?

Or nothing works. We just have to pay.

Regardless of whether you use the service or not, you have to pay GEZ. It will hardly be possible to change anything in the amount until you can prove that you, for example. You were the recipient of social benefits in the warning period. And if so, it was your job to share it with them.

GEZ must be paid for each household. Upon request, you can be exempted from this for justified and recognized reasons.

You have to pay even if you are NOT watching TV.

Anyone who "operates" a shared apartment as the main tenant must also pay the GEZ.

Whether you were unemployed or not doesn't matter if you don't apply for GEZ exemption.

So if the GEZ made a legitimate claim, you could have filed an objection. Why didn't you do it and prove why you weren't required to pay?

You can only get out with the help of a lawyer if you can prove that someone else has already paid the radio license fee for the apartments in which you have lived. Otherwise, you only have the option of agreeing installment payments with the contribution service.
