Is there a point in the setting as I can increase the fps? Or does it bring if I play on a resolution of 720 p instead of 1080p?

Of course it brings something to scale the resolution down, but I do not recommend.

Simply uninstall Fortnite, that always helps.

Could you try it? But brings only something, if the GPU is the bottleneck, but rather type on CPU.

Consoles are very restricted, so almost nothing can ever be changed about attitudes.
