Hey guys very quick question. I have a Gmail account that I no longer use and would delete it. I know how to delete my Gmail account but what would happen to the other accounts that I registered with the deleted gmail email address. Have a Playstation Network account and a Spotify account. Can you still log into Spotify and PSN with the deleted email address?
How is that supposed to work? To register with an email that no longer exists? Haha
I wanted to hear that Thank you π
The funny thing is that throwaway email works too.
Disposable emails or one-time email addresses are irrevocably deleted after a certain period of time.
That's exactly what I mean ππ» but what if you register with other accounts with a throw-away email, for example (youtube, netflix, spotify and andβ¦). After registering with various social media platforms, as you already said, the disposable email is deleted. I have e.g. Registered a youtube acc with a disposable mail. I can still register there today even though the disposable email has been deleted. For me it's not a throwaway email, but I delete my email account. And that should in principle be the same as with a disposable email. I asked this question because I don't hope that I will have to delete my account on the various platforms and then my Gmail account. I want everything to be deleted outside of google. My PSN and Spotify account do not have to be deleted now, but there should always be an error message that the email has been deleted and you can't log in.
Ok and what do you do when you get a code so that you can log in? This is my question to you now.
Then I can't log in because the email address is no longer available. Unless you try to hack my social media platforms π
Just. So I would just keep the gmail account you have. It doesn't bother and isn't in the way. I have 3 emails and I don't use 2 of them but I would never delete them because like you I have registered gmail with youtube, xbox, spotify etc.
You're right. I'd rather leave it.
No problem. Believe me you will be annoyed that you can no longer access PSN ^^ I also no longer gamble xbox but just the thought that I invested so much time with games and gamescores and all that I could never put into them Knock a ton! XD
Yes that's true too ππ
Google sometimes requests an email confirmation
But that is also true.
