My brother and I would like to buy a PS5 each, because I'm only at home on the weekend and my PS5 should then be in my student apartment. Unfortunately, I'm not very familiar with PS Plus, family accounts or sharing games.
From what I've read, game sharing will work similarly on the PS5 as it does on the PS4. Now my question:
If I buy a game from the PSN store and download it on both consoles using Change Primary, will the game be played online on both consoles by me and my brother (different accounts)?
PS Plus can, if you use a PS4, be used by both accounts if only one account has been paid for. Does this also work if we play on different consoles?
As far as I know, PS Plus can be used on 2 different devices, but if you want to play the same game at the same time, one of the two accounts will be removed from the game, unless both accounts have bought the game separately. But that could also cause problems when checking the license, that had already been tested
OK thank you. So would it make sense for each of us to buy PS Plus and then share the games like we did with the PS4 and download them on both consoles? Then we should be able to play online at the same time, right?
Exactly, if both buy it separately, it can be played at the same time😀
