Good 3D platformer / collectathons?

I'm looking for a good 3D platformer / collectathon ala Super Mario 64 and Banjo Kazooie.

Does anyone know what? (For Switch or Ps4)

I guess you already have Mario Oddysee / the 3D Collection. Yooka-Laylee would be worth a try (available on PS4 / Switch although I would recommend it on the Switch because handheld mode and about the same performance.) And of course 3D World. (Coming soon to the Switch looks great.)

I've already won Yooka Laylee and a platinum trophy. But wasn't that enthusiastic about the game.

Yes, I thought it was ok but not super exhilarating either. Then there would be the little e-shop jump and runs like (for example: on the Switch Woodle Tree Adventures. Was only on offer for 99 cents). 3 hours through.

Ok thank you, I might have to check it out. I'm just looking for a chill collecting adventure again.

I would recommend Crash Bandicoot to you. Preferably the box of 3. The levels are definitely not easy and there are a few funny bosses every now and then and a lot of different level designs.
