Whenever I play Fortnite (on PS4) my voice chat suddenly goes off, even though my microphone is on and Fortnite shows me that my voice chat is on, but I don't hear anyone & the players can't hear me either! I'm then shown in the lobby that no one is wearing voice chat.
How can I fix it? Restart etc. Brings nothing
You're probably at a party.
If not, plug your headphones or microphone into your controller before you start Fortnite.
Vlt. Do you just have the push to talk function on. Switch to 3D headphones and an open microphone. You don't necessarily have to set 3D headphones but would be good with a headset
I'm not wearing push to talk and I'm not in a party either
A few minutes ago the voice chat was working, but it suddenly went out again
Then, as I said, insert your microphone or headset into your Ps4 / controller before you start Fortnite
Comb that you are in game chat and not in group chat. It could be adjustable in the settings
