I recently discovered the game War Thunder on TikTok and loved it.
Of course I want to download it as soon as possible, but I don't know on which console
I have a PC (not the best for gaming, but enough for most games) and a Ps4
Of course, there are a few questions
1. Do you need a gaming PC or one with a good graphics card for War Thunder?
2. Is it possible to play on the PC with keyboard and mouse or should I buy a controller etc for PC?
3. With Ps4, don't you have to pay money to play online? I mostly only play offline on the Ps4
4. In your opinion, is the game any good? I've been looking for an online game of this kind for a long time.

The game is developed for PC, the console versions are only ported. The game is intended for keyboard and mouse and is therefore much easier to play.

I don't like the game. The developer Gajin doesn't have well-balanced games and at least earlier you could "cheat" with simple graphics settings
If you want to play arcade tanks, more like a shooter ect then World of Tanks is more recommended. If you want a little more realism and simulation then War Thunder.

So that's not the problem with the hardware. Air battles (at least pure air battles, i.e. In arcade mode) are very frugal in terms of hardware requirements.
You should also play this with the mouse and keyboard, because in this mode you have an advantage over the console players thanks to the mouse control. Yes, you play with console players.
If I've got it right, you can actually play War Thunder online without PS Plus. But it could also be that this has now been changed, no idea. If in doubt, try it.
If the game wasn't good, I wouldn't have sunk 1,750 hours of play in it. ^^

If you play on the PS4 you only have disadvantages. You don't get any offers and not all discounts. PS4 players also have no access to the player market, where you can buy special vehicles and skins, which makes grinding special events very difficult.
