What kind of gamers are you, why are you playing on the console and not on the PC or the other way around?

What kind of gamers are you, as it says above, what kind of gamers are you and why do you love to play on the PC or console, why did you choose the console and not the PC or the other way around. I keep asking myself why everyone is arguing (console is dirt, no PC is dirt, console is cheaper, PC is more expensive) etc.

Sure PC is more expensive, you have a lot more options, the console is more relaxed, you can sit far away and lie, sit, stand, etc. In normal cases you sit in front of the PC and it's not quite as relaxed as on a console, you always have to be closer to the keyboard and mouse and with the controller you just take it in your hand and you're done.

But I'm more of a PC, why? For me it simply has more options, you can change so much, if the performance is too little for you, I can upgrade it myself, there are more free games, you don't have to buy all the games again when a new console comes out, you can Change so much in games, whether massive graphics or hacks that don't exist on a console.

I think I've already spent a total of around 1,000 euro on Playstation games, but only as much because I always have to buy all the games again when a new console is released.

So what is your favorite, what do you think is great about your console and what annoys you, and why did you choose the console and not the PC the other way around, of course, why for the PC and not for the console decided.

I'm looking forward to your answers

PS: it always sucks when people argue that the PC is better and the console is dirty, I all love to gamble and we're all proud of what we play and that's how it should be, everyone's theirs

I only accept two arguments for a PS / XBOX:

price
Exclusive games

Other than that, I don't see any argument in favor of consoles. You can also connect a controller to a PC.

With the Switch, that's something else again, especially because you don't have a better alternative for on the go.

So I'm an all-rounder when it comes to I prefer to play Ps4 but also play on the Xbox and on the PC every platform has its advantages with the Playstation I just love the controllers, the exclusive games and the community.

At the Xbox also the exclusive titles.

And with the PC because it can be used universally, e.g. B for a quick googling and doing things that you can only do on your PC and that you don't have to pay any money to gamble online

My conclusion

No matter which console or platform has something to do with your own taste

Was fun to answer ciao.

Have been a PC gamer for more than 15 years and have never had a console. The biggest flaw with consoles for me is the game selection (and of course what you mentioned). I just don't want to limit myself to a few games or genres that much. The downward compatibility issue is definitely a reason for me to stay with the PC.

I see the only advantage with consoles in the low entry price and in the fact that you could previously play with several people on one console via split screen.

I guess I'm a casual gamer.

I prefer to play on the PS because I like to play single-player RPGs. XBox doesn't offer the games I want to play for me (I don't play shooters, car races, etc.) and I still play on the PC today, but more with friends such as Divinity and not in MMORPG's. I'm not ambitious enough for that and as a mediocre player, it's just not enough fun. In guilds, I was more of a decoration than a tank. Our PC was also rather bad, I had to save my first flat screen from my pocket money. However, my father bought the PS1-3, so it was there.

The argument is entirely due to the ego and is therefore actually unnecessary. The typical "my opinion is the best" had. The discussion, which usually came from a computer lover, I usually stifle with: "Would you have fun if I were fooling around in your raid? No? Then it's good I have a console."

Back then as a child, I had the NES, and that shaped it. From then on we had pretty much all consoles in childhood and adolescence. SNES, Gameboy, Playstation, N64, Playstation2. And that's why I just stayed with the Playsation.

Of course, as a child, I also played on a friend's computer on a computer. Or when I was older (and the systems were much better) with my boyfriend at the time, but somehow I just didn't really enjoy it. I missed the feeling of the controller. I just couldn't get into my gaming feeling with the keyboard and mouse.

Even today I don't like PCs that much. Sure I work on it, but in my spare time I try to avoid it. I have no idea why I never got really warm with computers. Probably because you have to sit rigidly in one placešŸ¤£. Cell phones and tablets are great for this! And currently the PS4 to play! And of course I'll get the PS5 again. Just because I like Playstation!

On the subject of gaming PCs and costs: that of course always put me off. I would not have been willing to spend 1000 euro on something that, firstly, I don't really master it and also have no interest in learning it, and secondly, as a game system, I don't get the same pleasure as a console.

But I grant everyone from the bottom of my heart if they enjoy it and if it is just right for them.
