Why can I now only set one primary Ps4?

I've been sharing Ps plus with my buddy lately. He had therefore activated primary on my main account. But since I didn't play on my main account, I also had primary ones so that I also have ps plus. As of yesterday, only one of us can activate primary ps4 somehow. Can someone help me with that?

Mo

It can only ever be 1 PS4 primary, as the term alone says.

Em

It has always been the case that only a PS4 could be activated as primary. The advantage when a PS4 is activated as primary is that all other user accounts that are registered on the primary PS4 can also use the content that you bought without having to buy PS + themselves. On the secondary PS4 this is not the case. Only the account that bought it, PS + / games etc. Can be used. So both you and your buddy had PS +.

But watch out. The sharing of PS + and games is strictly only allowed in your own household. Sony could ban your PSN account if they wanted to. As far as I know, this has not happened yet, but you never know what they can think of. 😉

Ri

No, that's the thing. Games can only be shared by one, but ps plus can be shared by 2 people

Mo

How should that work if you can only activate one device as primary?

Ri

You could actually 2

Mo

How many times… NO, YOU CAN'T!

Only one PS4 â„¢ system can be activated per account.
