Does the Lego dimension plate of Ps3 work on Ps4, or do I need a new one urgently?

The LEGO Gateway can be used independently of the console, so it should work. However, there's the game only in conjunction with the Gateway, the Batmobile, as well as the characters Batman, Gandalf and Wildstyle.
