Does FIFA21 on the PS5 CD version always install the PS4 version?

I have an annoying problem. I have a PS5 and, among other things, FIFA21 as a PS4 version.

For some time now there has been an upgrade to the revised PS5 version from FIFA. I also installed it, it works as it should.

But now my problem. I still need the disc to play, for copy protection. But if I insert it or if I inserted it when starting the PS5, the PS4 version will also be installed. I always have to cancel the installation. Or, if I wasn't fast enough, delete the installed PS4 version. In the long run this is not so great, if only for the hard drive.

Do you have any ideas how I can get this problem solved?

That's an interesting problem.

Did you check "PS5 Version" in the main menu of the PS5 while playing? Although that probably doesn't change anything, because how is the PS5 supposed to know that you don't intentionally want to install the PS4 version when you insert the disc?

I don't know of a solution either.

PS5 version is selected, is also available as PS5 in the menu. But I think the auto installation function detects that the PS4 version is not installed and then starts it… Unfortunately…
