PS4 controller disconnect?

I've had a pretty annoying problem for a few days.

Occasionally my PS4 controller simply loses connection to the Playstation.

If I then want to reconnect it by pressing the PS button, this does not work. It doesn't help to reconnect the controller with a USB cable, it just flashes light blue.

Interestingly, my second controller didn't work either. Neither via PS button nor via a USB cable.

I was then no longer able to operate the Playstation and put it to sleep using the button on the PS.

Then I tried to wake her up from sleep mode with the controller and I couldn't.

Then I started it up again and then wanted to reconnect the controller, lo and behold, it didn't work again.

The only thing that helped was pulling the power plug.

Can someone help me?

It could be that either the receiver in the Playstation or the resp. The controllers are defective or have loose contacts.

Do you have a way to borrow a buddy controller over a few days? I would recommend reducing possible causes after the elimination process.

PS: Have you reset the Playsi to factory settings?

Sorry I didn't get in touch. Somehow I didn't get an email that jmd replied.

About my problem. I have now noticed something else which may make things a little clearer.

I think my Playstation cuts all connections, for whatever reason. Not only that to the controller, but also the internet connection is interrupted.

It comes without warning. I just played a round of Battlefield, suddenly my controller stopped responding and went out shortly thereafter. Shortly afterwards, the internet connection was broken. I saw the same thing yesterday watching Netflix.

I still have picture and sound, but no internet and controller connection.

With my Wi-Fi or with my router everything is fine. It actually has to be the PS.

Do you have an idea?
