My Ps4 controller is broken, so the L3 joystick does not respond when I move it forward or backward. I opened the controller to see if something was broken or dirty, but I just couldn't find anything.
Now I had an idea. I wanted to repair the controller myself by buying a used controller that is still working, disassembling and installing it in my controller, i.e. Replacing it. Is that a good idea? I'm familiar with the controller, so no problem.
Have no desire to buy a controller for 60 euro if I can repair it for 20 euro.
Instead of buying a used controller and replacing the parts, should I buy a new motherboard for my controller and then replace it with the old one? Is something cheaper than buying a used controller?
Buy a used controller and if it works better, use the bought used one.
Jo. I still have parts painted on my current controller, i.e. Housing. Then I just wanted to add them
Then paint the used one
