Spotify on PS4, advanced settings?

Is it possible when I advertise Spotify on the PS4 that it automatically turns off the background music and effects of the game, because I think something like that should be automatic rather than manual, I do not want any background music when I hear Spotify at the same time! If not, does Sony have a department where I can voice that request?

No, as far as I know you have to do it yourself in the game.
