I bought the PS4 Slim 1 week ago, installed the game CoD (which cost me 9 (!) Hours when I installed it for the first time - is that normal or is it due to my internet connection 😅🤷♀️)
After the game was finally installed and I had played, I wanted to turn off the PS, it appeared on the display forever "ps4 turns off, do not pull out the power cable". So after 15 minutes I removed the cable.
The next day I switched it on, the message came that you should not disconnect it from the power while it is running, well learned to do that, I will never do it again.
Because the penalty was probably that the CoD game had to be reinstalled (8! Hours)
I have not played for 2 days now and just wanted to play again, switched on the PS, the game did not respond, so I turned off the PS this time, of course, without a power cable. I turned it on again and the message "Do not pull from the power cable, data loss occurs" etc.
Well and now I have to reinstall the game (11 hours)
I'm getting crazy! That can't be normal.
Who else had this problem and what could be the reason. 😤
Sry I'm not very familiar with the PS4, but in my opinion you should return it to the seller or ask for a replacement. Looks like a technical defect.
I can't tell you whether this was triggered by pulling the power cord.
Try to reset the console.
