PS5 guarantee at Amazon France, how does it work?

I would like to buy a new Playstation 5 Digital from someone for a fair price. It was bought through Amazon France.

I would pick up the Playstation from the person because they live near me and pay cash there too.

I just wonder how it works then, should something be with the Playstation. The seller said to me that the guarantee runs directly through Sony, but since I don't know my way around, I wanted to ask what you think about it before I get involved
