Turn off Paladins in-game micro?

Have a long time headset with Mirko and recently I play Paladins on the PS4, but whenever I make a sound it indicates on the side of my champion with a loudspeaker sybol. So I concluded that one hears me in the game. Since then I have turned off my Mirko completely by I want to chat with others in a party and I'm afraid that you will hear me back in the game.

Can't you turn it off?

Or you do not hear me at all?

I hope you understand what I mean, if not just ask.

If you have turned that off in Settings, you will not hear you anymore, even if the icon is displayed

Ah okay. But in the settings have changed a nothing? Is this maybe the mood volume?
