Keep / Transfer Gran Turismo Cars?

I have a new PlayStation and I'm waiting for the new Gran Turismo 7, but will I keep my cars from the old game? Or do I have to start over? (I currently have Gran Turismo Sport). I couldn't find anything on the internet

From the front, of course…

Ok good to know thank you, I was hoping to keep my cars. But it doesn't make much sense if you think about it 😅

I haven't heard from GT7 yet, but that has not yet worked in any part of the series.
