Claw ache?

My middle fingers and ring fingers hurt from playing the claw with a standard ps4 controller. But it only hurts because my ring and middle fingers are crooked, do you think that will stop the pain? At claw you use the index fingers for the symbol keys and middle fingers and ring fingers for R1 / L1 and R1 / L2
