PS4 Slim on Ultrawide High Resolution Monitor?

I bought an Ultrawide Monitor from LG for my PS4 Slim. This one has a maximum resolution of 2560x1080. Can I play with this resolution on my PS4 Slim or is it only with Full HD (So 1920x1080)?

The 1920x1080 resolution is then probably stretched to the dimensions, the actual resolution remains at 1920x1080. If this is not the case, you have left and right black bars.
