Ps Plus code with hyphen is not?

I bought a 3 month ps plus code today… I entered it but can't click continue and there's a red exclamation point next to it. There's a hyphen in the code and I counted it as one of the 12 digits. Is not he? Or why my code is not?

No, the hyphens are not included.
