Connect Ps4 with projector?
I have owned a Ps4 for a long time and recently an ancient projector. I plan to connect both, but I haven't seen a map of all the connections, some of them never before, and since both do not have the same connections, that confuses me even more.
I tried to hang the Ps4 on my monitor and the projector on the monitor, but there was no picture and I don't think that that made sense in any way.
Beamer connections: S-Video, Video, VGA, RS-232
Ps4 connections: HDMI
What is the best HDMI - VGA transmission method?
I don't know the projector number, but it's a very old projector from Optoma
It can be 4: 3 and 16: 9 and the quality is actually quite okay
I connected my Ps4 to the projector, but the projector also has HDMI. I think there are adapters, but that affects the transmission quality and they are disproportionately expensive.

Yes. I once had something to connect the projector to the ancient laptop. But had to be ordered extra at the electronics store.

And then simply plug my existing VGA cable into the blue one and the HDMi piece into my Playstation?
Yes, you only need the appropriate cables and possibly an adapter. As I said, that nibbles on the quality but I thought it was ok.
Ok great and one last question. How about the audio? I don't have anything with audio on the projector or the Ps4, but I would still like to hear something without having to use my headset
In the adapter on the back there's a normal jack connection that you can connect to your system.

Depends on the format of the film. Gambling is 16: 9. There are cheap alternatives for screen. Do you know these plastic tablecloths? On the back is a layer of white felt or something. In any case, you can project onto it super. Available by the meter in hardware stores for little money. I'll take another photo
My solution for a cheap canvas. Back of a plastic tablecloth. Glued to a log and reinforced at the bottom with a self-adhesive cable duct. I have a second, thicker log to roll up. Is a bit of handicraft work but works great and is unbeatably cheap. Approx. 25 euro in total.
