Moin I got a circuit board for my ps4 controller and there are these 2 things on it, who can say for what and why they are there because they are not on other circuit boards (the black chips)

Do you mean the black microchips or what?

Fu

These are solder points on the board. Could be resistance.

sp

Yes

sp

No the black chips!

sp

But with other boards I don't find this strange

If you mean the components that say 48C, then these are SMD resistors.
The fact that those on the other board are not available may be due to a technical change. However, this is difficult to judge without a circuit diagram.

The left chip is a Mediatek microcontroller. The controller also needs a little brain and that's where all inputs and outputs are processed.

I can't tell you the right one because the picture is too blurred.

The larger chip will register the inputs of the buttons and then send them (is any MediaTek ARM chip), the smaller chip could be a chip that manages the external connections of the controller.

sp

Ah okay what if they weren't there? What would happen?
