First hello,
so i have the following error. I have an old Web.de email, about 2 years ago the error occurred that I suddenly couldn't log in anymore. I entered my password 100% correctly, but I just couldn't get in. Then I tried to change the password. So I forgot my password, entered my email and wanted to change it, but it said that the email didn't exist. At that time I was looking for similar error messages from other users on the Internet, but I didn't find very much. After about a week I was so excited that I just created a new email. Everything works wonderfully with it. Unfortunately, I'm logged in to some services (such as Ubisoft connect, Paypal, Playstation Network, etc.) with the old email. There I can still log in with the old email but unfortunately I can't change the current email. I tried to log in again and again in these 2 years but it hasn't changed.
I hope someone can help me and thank you in advance.
Web.de regularly deletes inactive "old" mail addresses.
Free mail providers delete accounts after a while if they are no longer actively used.
Web.de sends regular emails in which you have to confirm the activity.
If your email address no longer exists, then it has just been deleted.
BUT, some providers then release the addresses after a while.
At Web.de I think it was after 1 year.
So the only thing you can do is try to re-register your old email address.
If that works, you've been lucky, if not, then unfortunately you are unlucky, and you have to contact the support team on the respective sites.
Oh my God. Thank you very much it works. After 2 years I'm finally coming back in.
