I got an item in Rocket League where you can change the color, but I don't know how to do it on a PS4. Can someone help me?

You can't change the color of items. You can only change the colors of the stickers to a certain extent

You can't actually change colors with items. With decals, however, you can usually set 2 colors, if that's what you mean

Most of the player frames or the stickers?
Maybe send in a picture of the item

It's a gate explosion, but I'm not sure that it will work at all

It does not work with a gate animation.
