Can I play ps5 with a Bose soundbar?

I bought the PS5 and would like to buy the Bose soundbar 700 with speakers and subwoofer soon. And my question is: can I use the soundbar on the PS5? And if so, how? Simply connect the soundbar and console to the TV via HDMI 2.1?

Connect the soundbar to the TV, then any audio signal from the TV will be output through the soundbar, which ultimately includes the PS5.

The soundbar has nothing to do with the console (or any other device connected to the television), so compatibility does not matter. Any sound that is output via the television without a soundbar is output via the connected soundbar.

The PS5 no longer has an optical output (if you can believe the Internet).
