PS5 Monitor - is it suitable for the Benq Zowie E-Sport Console Monitor RL 2455?

I currently have the Benq Zowie RL2455 console E sport monitor. Is it also worth it for the PS5?

I want the max. FPs - everything should run as smoothly as possible. That's why I probably won't use 4K anyway because it won't run smoothly right away. (To the best of my knowledge). The question is then actually only whether the monitor can run games in HD with up to 120FPs. If he then eg in HD. Only max. 60FPs managed, and thus quasi which leaves it would be for example. Nothing for me. I hope I was able to explain my concerns well and I hope for answers.

Ha

HD is 720p. So you don't mind playing in 720p? FHD is 1080p. 1920x1080

Every game runs differently on every console. If the PS5 manages 60+ FPS in a game, then you can take it. I would first get the PS5 and test it, then test a new monitor.

De

The monitor can have a maximum of 75Hz.

I had to google the thing first

Do I see correctly that it is a 24 inch full HD monitor with 60HZ

for a mere 250 euro

De

With HD one usually means Full HD. 720p is only HD ready

Ho

Yes, I mean 1080p.

Thanks for the answer, so that means that I could play with a maximum of 75 FPs and e.g. 85 FPs are not possible?

Ho

Yes exactly, absolutely sufficient for the PS4.

What should a gaming monitor be? These are words for people who are not technically informed.

For gaming, but also in general.

27 inches, 4k (Full HD) resolution, under 1ms access time. (Especially important for gamers, otherwise you will be dead at Counterstrike before you can see it.) Any good current monitor can do that.

Funnily enough, Samsung also calls its 27-inch device a gaming monitor.

Have fun with it.

I think you didn't quite understand my question. 1. Is this monitor a professional e-sports monitor - tournaments (PS4) are played with it, e.g. CoD. So for PS4 Top, my question is how it looks for the Ps5. Can the monitor "transmit" up to 120 FPS on 1080p graphics? Since the Ps4 doesn't get that many FPs anyway, the question only relates to the PS5.

I think YOU didn't understand my answer. The technical data are important. The Samsung is an official gaming monitor for professionals.

Benq is a brand that has had to give its monitor the name Gaming.

I have listed all the important dates. I don't care which brand.

I have 3 Samsung monitors. The oldest 22 inches is 15 years old.

Access time is important for gaming. I wrote that specifically.

The one who can read is in advantage

Unfortunately you have no idea about technology.

And now just pay attention to my name here. Technician. Exactly… Scholarly information electronics technician. Idle time 3.5 years. I know computers and technology inside out.

What did you learn? Or do you still go to school?

Ho

I didn't mean to attack you in any way. Sorry if it came across like that.

So if you know your way around that well - can the monitor get up to 120 FPs when playing games on the Ps5 graphics setting 1080p, or is that technically not even possible because it is too bad?

Ze

But you don't notice a difference because the monitor doesn't work

Access time, or rather input lag, is almost never given for a monitor. If there's 1ms it refers to the gtg change. Hardly any monitor has an access time of less than 1 ms (at least none that I know of). So your answer can be misunderstood!

And the word Samsung doesn't make a good monitor either. Every brand has good and bad models for various areas of application. It is also a mystery to me which exact model you are talking about here.

Mo

The 75Hz will be useless because the output options will most likely only be 60 and 120Hz anyway, these are the standard values for televisions.

Ho

Ah ok thank you very much.

Jo

@ techniker68 You seem to know your way around. Can you possibly recommend a monitor for the ps4? That creates a maximum of 60 fps?
And if you buy a 144Hz monitor, for example, does that have a negative effect on the input lag?
