I have not had this incident yet, but since I want to put my PlayStation 4 Pro morning in a store that does a cleaning and applying a thermal grease for money, I'm interested in whether the seller has to pay for the damage and how will take place now.
A thorough cleaning, after all, there's a chance that something could go wrong and I lose the warranty on the console. This is not a problem, because I no longer have a real guarantee because I do not have the receipt, but I do not know if this factor plays a real role.
I do not like to ask questions, because I prefer to inquire before, but I think that this time it's a question that finds its place here. After all, surely there are other people who might be interested in this topic.
The process costs about 35 euro and should, according to information, only take 30 minutes.
The store has very good reviews and I assume that everything is done professionally there.
Only I'm just a very skeptical person.
If a cleaning / repair is responsible for the resulting damage, the person liable for it.
So I can safely hand in my console and be sure I'll be compensated in an emergency, right?
