As many of you probably know, the Playstation 5 will be out on November 21st.
Since my birthday is on December 3rd, I wanted to buy this myself for my birthday.
But since it will probably sell out extremely quickly everywhere, I wanted to ask if you have any ideas how I can get a PS5 by my birthday.
Order everywhere at the same time and where the shipping confirmation comes first, wait for it and cancel or revoke the rest or send it back.
You can just pre-order now, or join Media Markt 1-2 hours before opening. You can also wait for the next swing
The ps5 isn't sold in stores, is it?
I've always done it this way and I do NOT regret it:
I haven't bought the latest model of a new console. So far it has always been the case that the consoles had small defects or small improvements were made and then there were new models. This saved me a lot of confusion because I bought the last model that came out with both of my consoles. This saved me some mistakes and had to work with others and myself, e.g. Don't bother with a "jet" in the room. In addition, for example, only PS4 Pro models from CUH-7200 support a boost mode or whatever it is called. How this will go with the PS5 is of course absolutely unclear, but I bet a few will regret it.
Because they can't decide between the models
Possible bugs on the newer models would not have
It will be on offer after a while
I've done it 2 times with great success. I absolutely do not regret it. In contrast to some around me, I didn't always have to think that the PS4 was so loud because there was dust in it…
Sure, but I don't think so yet.
The PS5 will be released on November 19th.
Not only will it sell out extremely quickly everywhere, but it will most likely not be available in the markets at all. It looks like only the pre-orderers are served and rumor has it that consoles are deliberately not offered for sale.
Allegedly, Sony even "threatened" retailers if they should offer them.

If you weren't there for those two waves of pre-orders, things will probably look pretty bad by December 3rd. I would rather plan in early / mid-January.
