For years I have wanted to get a Lexus IS200 built before 2003 as a second car. But I won't find anything in Germany or Austria, there are only a handful for sale across Europe and they either have major damage or many previous owners with very high mileage. In the past, such cars were in every corner of Vienna until 2008-2010, why are they so rarely or not at all to be seen after 10 years? Even much older cars are seen hundreds of times a day, but the Lexus IS200 or IS300 built between 1998-2003 is hardly seen anymore. Did the cars all wreck over time (which I can't imagine at Lexus) or do today's owners just don't want to give them up because they are very stable?
PS it has always been my dream to own it, even sooner after all the Need for Speed, Midnight Club gadgets on the PlayStation 1 and 2 times and all the car racing films.
The problem is that it is a classic "lover's car". Whoever has one is not there
