What is more important to have 100% in the game or platinum trophy ((applies to the playstation community)?

Since I'm mostly at home because of the quarantine, I have noticed that I gamble a lot more than usual and I even enjoy it. But I come to the real question. To the Trophyhunter what is more important for you to have 100% in the game or do you stop when you have Platinum in the game. Or are you the people who also get all the DLC's just to have 100%. I got my first platinum trophy in GTA V (with 87%) was proud but when I heard that it is only valuable when you really have 100% I thought I should start with the doosday heist dlc or not.

That's just how it is

Unfortunately there are no answer options for me. I only get 100% for games that I like very much. And in my opinion it is usually easier to get 100% than platinum. Have already 100% in several games. But never had platinum because it somehow ned motivates me

For me, a game ends when I have finished the story or (in the case of games without a story) when I have simply lost motivation.

I don't really care whether I have any trophies or 100% progress.

On the contrary, to do 100% in most games you have to do a lot of stupid grind, which I don't feel like doing.

Thank you for your answer, but without platinum you will not have the game 100% anyway because you are missing any trophy. And besides, it is much more difficult to have 100% than platinum, because DLC's are still coming out that will destroy your 100% progress again. As with me e.g. I have GTA 5 main game 100% the two DLC's gta online heist and rockstar editor also 100% just stop there's a new dlc outside like the doomsday heist and I just have 69% and that has lowered my general GTA 5 progress a little bit so that there's 87% progress

But you have to say that there are also some games where one or no DLCs came out. In addition, the throphies often have such stupid tasks where you have to do several things within a certain time or something. So tasks to stretch the playing time and contribute nothing to progress. So I have no idea what you're playing besides GTA but it's pretty much always the case with me. For this reason, I don't like to play GTA. Because you can just do too much and never get finished and new content always comes out.

Yes you're right GTA always releases new DLCs. Besides GTA, I also like to play exclusive titles for ps4 like Uncharted, Tlou…
