Battlefront 2: Female Officers?

Battlefront 2 has playable "First Order" officers. I've seen in several YouTube videos that this First Order officer can also be configured as a female person. Is this only possible through modifications? (I play on the PS4)

All First Order Officers are female.

The default officer on the First Order is the red-haired, blue-eyed lady. Then there are skins with other women.

On the imperial side, it's only men. In the resistance too. Naturally, too, with the clones.
