Astro A50 4.Gen on Ps4 Slim without digital out (optical)?

I bought the astro a50 4 gen for my ps4 slim because the ps4 slim has no optical input from the sound, I only connected it via usb and it also works via usb, you would hear a difference audibly if I still had an optical cable for use the sound?

Not with such a good headset. The USB adapter is so high quality that there would be no difference. In addition, the sound would be worse since the Playstation controllers have such a bad sound kart.

You have a bluetooth adapter in the playstation right? Just said that if you plug a cable from the headset into the controller the sound would be worse, sorry if I expressed it misleadingly
