What do you think of Google's new Stadia system. Will it work well in your opinion? And are proper consoles like my beloved PS4 Pro at risk?
I hope Google's plan goes down the drain. The Xbox and the Playstation are enough. In addition, cloud gaming is causing problems. I have a cable connection with a 500,000 line. What do people with DSL do?
I just do not want the Google system to succeed and get rid of our classic consoles.
Do you think the system will be a big competitor for Sony and Microsoft?
I would be glad if we vote together under this post.
Am xboxler… And yes the ps4 is better xD
but the service will only be a competition for the consoles. It is basically just an extension of the game experience on the PC or tablet. Because hardware is still needed, the controller of Google alone is not enough.
and the internet is getting faster over time. Not everywhere the progress is immediate, but you can't stop it
What do I personally think of it? I find it good. Is yes then the same principle as spotify
Google are not the first to try to establish gaming as a streaming service and certainly will not be the last.
I think the model is very worthwhile in principle. Why should I bother me with unnecessary Hhomework, the only dusty and outdated, if I can simply rent Hhomework?
So far, however, it fails because of the suboptimal latencies. We will see if it is accepted.
Competition is known to drive the business.
The target group are more casual players who would not buy a PC to play. So the consoles are more affected, but not really, because there are also many Hardcorekonsoleros who take care of the hobby seriously. Anyone who fetches FIFA every year will eventually resort to gamestreaming if the conditions are right.
Personally, I hope the streaming will flop. In any case, the PC will not be affected because it has many more arguments that the consoles just do not have. Even today, consoles are nothing more than a distribution platform just download / retail instead of streaming. If this argument goes away for some, then the way is easy to resort to Stadia, especially if it is cheaper to buy than a conventional console to buy.
Google Stadia? What about offline mode, modsupport, crossplay, latencies, dedicated servers, and and and.
Why should I switch from Steam / GOG to Stadia? That makes no sense to me, because graphics alone for me does not outweigh the infinite disadvantages. What if Google eventually decides to remove a game from the program? Bad luck.
