Can you watch YouTube videos on Twitch (without partner status)?

I would like to see YouTube videos live on Twitch with the audience, as Monte and Co. Do too. Do I have to expect consequences in the form of a strike, ban? I'm not a Twitch partner and have no financial intentions. Could there be any problems in this regard?

You are not allowed to just watch a video, that would be a copyright infringement.

But, if most of the stream is about what you have to say about this video, that's ok. So let's say you watch for 30 seconds, then you discuss the content for 3 or 4 minutes, that would then probably (!) Be ok (always depends on the individual case).
But you can't just watch the video and leave a few comments on the side, that's not allowed.

You have to see if the videos are nocopyright short written ncr if they are nocopyright then you can watch them in the stream, but that is not inscope for most Monte, etc. But that is allowed for most videos

Yes, but Monte and Co. Let it go through and just stop for a moment to say something. Why are they allowed to do that then?

lo

Nocopyright does not exist in Germany. Every video is automatically protected by copyright here. You can't get rid of the copyright if you want to.

Here in Germany, you always have to have a license to use it, e.g. CC0 (CC0 allows everyone to use anything without restriction).

And "nocopyright sounds", for example, has nothing to do with nocopyright, because they do not allow any commercial use.

lo

Often they are not allowed to, they just haven't been sued yet.

Le

As if. Really now?

lo

Sure, many "reaction" videos and streams (legally largely the same) violate copyright law.

But it depends on the individual case, as I said. If the main part is to deal with it, that's ok. But not when you just watch funny videos together or something.
