I'm faced with the decision to livestream on either Twitch or Youtube.
Twitch has the better quality, but if you want to make decent money you have to become a partner… You can only stream exclusively on Twitch.
Youtube has the worse quality, you can rewind for it and has (if you upload videos) its community only on one platform. But that can be an advantage or a disadvantage…
Also looks on Youtube but no livestreams or? How is one then discovered as a livestreamreamer? I have not found a real search. Only the most viewed are really displayed. I think that's better with Twitch…
What's your opinion? Do you watch livestreams on Youtube and how is it discovered? Where are the bigger opportunities? Is it really better to have your community on a single platform?
Would be nice if I could get your opinions, you are welcome to ask me questions. Critical questions can also help.
No YouTube has the better quality. At Twitch, you have to become a partner for good quality, and that too is not as good as it is on YouTube. And you can also earn money with twitch if you stream on youtube, you mean the exclusive contracts.
In the end, it depends on what you like, except it's all about the views and the money.
I do not understand. I do not get such good picture quality on Youtube as on Twitch.
On Twitch you just have to become a partner to be able to stream rationally in 1080p.
Anyway, I get a worse quality with the same OBS settings on YT.
Then that's probably up to you. But you can stream on YouTube at a higher bitrate, and even in 4k (I do not know if you have to be a partner)
But there will certainly be no Germans on the way or?
Not so much yet. But if you seriously want to build a future with it, then speak English. You will never be so successful with German anyway.
That's true. You can stream in a higher bitrate and if you have a 2 PC setup you will get a better quality. But I had thought more about the "price / performance ratio". That's better with Twitch. It's just more optimized.
You get better results with the same hardware and bitrate on Twitch. I heard that before and can confirm it for me.
That one with ner stark hardware and eventual 20k upload better results on YT can achieve, I do not doubt so with.
But my thoughts are about so many things. Should one select the offerer only after the stream quality? I don't know
Thanks for your comment
Ehm, that's not how streaming works. There's no price performance ratio. That would not make sense either. If you on YouTube with the same settings as on twitch streams, so if you convert etc. Nothing you have exactly the same result of quality. And I can easily stream to YouTube and still have at least 120 fps in each game, because I do not need a 2 PC and thanks to restream stream I also twitch, mixer and youtube at the same time.
