Why can't I give a Twitch abo?

Wanted to give a twitch subscription to my friend.

Now I can't do this because the button does not appear, but for other twitchers such as Shroud or Ninja this button appears.

Can anyone tell me what he has to do so I can give him a subscription?

He must have the status of an "affiliate" to get subscriptions.

Essentially, he has to fulfill the following criteria:

At least 50 followers

At least 500 total minutes transmitted in the last 30 days

At least seven individual transmission days in the last 30 days

At least three simultaneous viewers or more in the last 30 days
