I bought a Xbox one S a week ago (forza horizon 4 bundle) and now och had to send them under warranty for repair (clicking power supply). I had already redeemed my Xbox live gold subscription, and now my question: Is the Xbox live gold abo just continuing? And if so, I can stop it somehow, because I can't play in time and yes it was not my fault that I had to return the console. (The Xbox is on its way to microsoft)

Unfortunately nothing, the key message is simply you would not have to buy the live yes. That's just the same as if you bought 20 other time-limited apps, it just has nothing to do with the fact that you only have the right to a working console. In the business area there are expensive expensive guarantees (insurance) covering the failures.
