A few weeks ago I donated a little over 2K euro to my favorite streamer on Twitch within a few minutes. (In the form of gifted subs to his community, which gives him the money)
I'm 20, I'm currently in the 3rd year of my apprenticeship and have been able to save about 8K since I still live at home… (Now "only" 6K) I've been following the streamer very actively for years and just wanted something for return the good entertainment. Now, afterwards, I also have a really good feeling about having done something good, but there's always the small ulterior motive whether the amount was not a bit exaggerated… After all, it is easy to do six months of work in my case.
Do you think that was completely exaggerated, or is it still reasonably fit?
To say it would be an exaggeration would be an understatement… MMn.
If it makes you happy…
I would also be happy to send you my bank details if you are in a donor mood again.
I personally find it extremely exaggerated. In my opinion 50 euro would have been enough.
I'm too stingy for that and I would give 50 euro at most and all of them if I could have found 20 euro on the street.
But of course it's up to everyone, I don't want to influence anyone.
Can I join?
I think it's over the top. Streaming is not a real job in my eyes… You can do that as a hobby in your free time
Streaming is just like any other job, just that you are your own boss
